Introduction

Log In Procedures

When you log in to your evaluation database, you will be connecting directly to our company server. We have hard-coded the connection information into each of the evaluation clients. OpenMFG offers clients for several platforms: Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. Feel free to download the client of your choice.

Log In to the Client for Windows

This section details the steps required to log in to your evaluation copy of the OpenMFG Client for Windows. This client has been tested on Windows 98, 2000, XP, and Vista. To open the client, first locate the directory where you saved the executable file you downloaded from our website. The OpenMFG Client for Windows may be downloaded from our website at the following URL: http://www.xtuple.com/docs/download-windows.php

The file you downloaded from our website is a self-extracting file. Double-click on this file to automatically extract its contents into a separate directory. The directory that will be created is called OpenMFG_Demo. You will find several files in this directory. If you would like to verify that all the files you need were created successfully, simply return to the download page on our website to see a full list of the package contents. Open the newly-created directory and locate the OpenMFG executable file. This will be the file named OpenMFG_Demo.exe. Double-click on that file to launch the client application. The following screen will appear
